Angela Hey focuses on mobile devices, smart networks and software platforms. She writes a technology column for the Mountain View Voice.
Prior to founding Techviser, she worked at market analysis firm INPUT where she directed enterprise software marketing. She also managed partner relationships at handheld device pioneer, General Magic. At AT&T she set up a venture to publish UNIX software. She analyzed market opportunities for Bell Laboratories and researched interfaces between 400 operations support systems in telecommunications companies.
Her background also includes internships at IBM and Cadbury-Schweppes. Her pro bono work includes managing website development and advising local goverments on energy saving initiatives.
Angela's clients have included computer manufacturers, telecommunications companies and venture investors. She holds a PhD in engineering from Imperial College, London, an MMath in combinatorics and optimization from the University of Waterloo and an MA in mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
